In association with the British Section Parent Teacher Group of the Lycée International Saint Germain en Laye we invite students from 6ème to Seconde to join our Performing Arts trip on the theme of ‘HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL’ during the Toussaint Holiday 2025.
Dates: Monday 27 October to Saturday 1 November
Show on the evening of Monday 3 November.
Accompanied travel is included in the fee as follows:
OUTBOUND: Monday 27th October. Students will meet at Gare Paris Montparnasse at 13.20. Students will take a direct train to BORDEAUX with onward coach transfer to Villamblard.
RETURN: Saturday 1st November arrival at at Gare Paris Montparnasse at 19.21.
What does it involve? A challenging and fun week with intensive workshops in music, drama and dance, culminating in the performance of a full-scale musical back in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Previous experience isn’t essential but lots of enthusiasm is a must!
There will be opportunities for solo, small group as well as ensemble work. We work on an ‘everyone does everything’ basis and each principal role is shared between several students. Maximum effort is made to ensure that everyone feels a valued member of the cast.
Location: Full board, lodging and rehearsal facilities are provided in the beautiful village of Villamblard in the Dordogne. The centre is set in 2 hectares of parkland with accommodation mostly provided in rooms of 3 persons (bedding provided).
Accompanied transport from Paris Montparnasse is included in the fee.
Performance: The Show will be presented to parents and friends at the Lycée International Saint Germain-en-Laye on the evening of Monday 3rd November. An after school dress rehearsal will precede the public performance starting at 8pm.
FEE: 620€ TTC Including travel (580€ for Siblings)
The trip is declared as a "‘Séjour de Vacances’ and regulated by the DDCSPP. Many Comités d’Entreprise contribute towards such trips so do consider asking yours! Chèques Vacances (paper or Connect) Accepted.
