Paul Allnutt – Choreographer and Dance Tutor
Paul started dancing at the age of ten and went on to train
at Masters Performing Arts College. After graduating, Paul
went on to have a successful ten years performing, working
on shows such as: WEST SIDE STORY, on a national tour and
in the West End (playing the part of Chino), GREASE, and
FAME in the West End, where he covered and played many of
the lead roles, along with the job of assistant dance captain.
Other shows include Annie, Oklahoma and the original cast of
Santa Claus the Musical. Paul also spent time working as a
singer and dancer on cruise ships and as a dancer in various
hair shows and at Wembley Arena in the Forever After concert.
TV and Film credits include ‘The Power Of One (Warner Bros), ‘Lipstick On Your Collar’
(channel 4), Jewel (ITV), Blue Peter, Big Brother and GMTV, amongst others.
Paul has also taught workshops and classes across the UK for the past ten years along
with various choreography and direction for dance productions and musical productions,
including, choreographing pantomime for the last two years for Paul Holman, one of the
largest panto companies in the country.
Jilly Ballantyne – Set Designer and Craft Workshop Leader

Jilly Ballantyne - Set Designer and Craft Workshop Leader
Jilly Ballantyne is a practising artist and art teacher who has lived on the Cote d’Azur for the last 18 years. She was educated in Scotland, graduating from Gray’s School of Art in 1989 with a BA Hons in Art and Design. This will be Jilly’s third year with Beauville Arts, where her role is to produce props and set design with the students, getting the stage all set for the end of the week’s performance. There’s a whole lot of creative, large scale painting, frenetic sticking, and making (and quite a lot of laughing) Jilly says, ‘Bring old clothes – it could get messy!’
Shaun Cawell – Set Designer and Craft Workshop Leader
Shaun is an Artist and Teacher exhibiting, practicing and delivering artwork for 20 plus years. His teaching activities are currently within the performing arts sector where his experience in sculpture and 3D work translates to sets and props for stage productions.
At Beauville, working often with re-cycled materials, Shaun’s motto is “we make something out of the ordinary out of the ordinary”!
Now resident in SW France he divides his time between these activities but is also actively engaged in organic farming and aspects of self-sufficiency.
Daisy Giddings – Choreographer and Dance Tutor

Daisy Giddings - Choreographer and Dance Tutor
Daisy began dancing at 3yrs old appearing in her first professional pantomime at just 6yrs old. Having spent her early years performing for different companies and competing in Dance Festivals she then studied at The BRIT School for Performing Arts, before furthering her training at The Centre for Performing Arts in London. Since graduating she has performed for various companies including Disney and Pineapple Cheerleaders. Daisy now teaches all styles of Dance and Musical Theatre for different schools and has choreographed numerous shows for different companies including ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘The Boyfriend’.
Sarah Guillermin
Sarah graduated from Laban Centre London in 2003 with a BA (HONS) Dance Theatre. She received a Simone Michelle Award the same year for « outstanding achievement in choreography ». Working with different companies, shows and projects as dancer and choreographer, she also developed her own choreographic work with her Swiss company – Cie Guimerlin. She danced and assisted the choreographer for the Martin’s Tap Dance Company with which she won medals at the Swiss and World Tap Dance Championships and toured for many years in Europe in shows Clak-son and Box-son. Sarah also broadened her choreographic and organisational skills working for the world tap dance champions’ show Shoebiz. Sarah also taught ballet, jazz, musical and tap for children and adults.
In the area of dance organisation, she was Artistic Coordinator for the renowned Prix de Lausanne ballet competition.
Sarah is Dean of the professionnal contemporary dance education programme in Geneva Switzerland and Secretary General of the Swiss « Association pour la Reconversion des Danseurs Professionnels (RDP) ».
Simon Holland – Musical Director

Simon Holland - Musical Director
Simon is a musician and Music Director with over 15 years West End Experience playing multi reeds and keys. He has also previously run a large theatre school in the UK and directed musical theatre courses in the United States before joining the team of Beauville Arts in the Summer of 2008. He has since directed courses both in Beauville and the Côte d’Azur.
Winter months are generally passed in sunnier climes whilst Simon indulges his other great passion, diving (he is a qualified dive-master), whilst working as musical director with a number of cruise lines.
Pascal Lawrynowicz – Drum Tutor

Pascal Lawrynowicz - Drum Tutor
Pascal Lawrynowicz has a Diploma Supérieur in drumming and plays classical and world percussions. He plays a wide variety of music from classical to heavy metal in various bands across south-west of France. He teaches drumming in the music school of Foix however also works on personal projects such as “Le Voyage du Tambour” and his website www.percunivers.com.
Chris Newland – Guitar Tutor
Chris attended Berkeley College in Boston, Mass. then left to join a popular New England band signed to Atlantic Records. Toured in the North East States, worked with Felix Pappalardi, Mick Ronson and Murray Krugman as producers.
Recorded and toured extensively with Carribbean artist Arrow who charted with hits such as ‘Hot Hot Hot’ and ‘Long Time’. Toured in the UK with Sister Sledge, Oddessy and The Foundations.
Recent performances with Bonnie Bramlett, Andrew Roachford, Marcella Detroit, Jocelyn Brown and Hamish Stuart. Recorded and toured with American singer songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols and recently completed an album with the London based band The AllStars. Guest artists included the UK jazz guitarist Jim Mullen and Jocelyn Brown among others.
For the past number of years Chris has also been working as a teacher at the Guitar Institute in London as well as doing numerous workshops on various guitar styles. Personal tutorials have included artists such as Madonna and Courtney Love.
Nicholas Norman – Choreographer and Dance Tutor
Nicholas is an Arts Consultant, Choreographer and Performer from London. Trained at the Urdang Academy Covent Garden (Dip Musical Theatre) and Middlesex University (BA Hons Professional Practice Arts Management). Royal Academy of Dance teacher and Trinity College London Arts Award Advisor.
Performance jobs include The Lion King & Fame in the West End, BBC voice-overs, Gloria Estefan and X factor backing dancer. British Fashion awards, Spillers Pantomime and Millennium Dome. International performance jobs include Yas Raj bollywood films; Aaja nachle and Tara rum pum. Qatar Aspire Academy opening ceremony.
Simeon Qsyea – Choreographer and Dance Tutor (Hip Hop and Commericial Dance)
Simeon Qsyea is a highly versatile and creative choreographer, visual artist and dancer based in London. His first commercial success came as choreographer for JLS when he was responsible for their (his) first no.1 video Beat Again and “Everybody in Love”. He has subsequently worked with many well-known artists including Alexandra Burke, Pink, 50 cent & devised choreography for the TV show ‘So You Think You Can Dance!. Director of both BirdGang dance company and Rubygirls Simeon’s training in Aahehop, Hip Hop, Ballet, Physical Theatre, Jazz, House, Contact Improvisation, Contemporary and more give him the edge of great versatility,
Gemma Ross – Choreographer and Dance Tutor

Camilla Stanger – Choreographer and Dance Tutor
Camilla studied classical ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and musical theatre, jazz and tap at Italia Conti Associate school in Surrey. She performed for a number of years with The National Youth Ballet and has since performed with Tuca Dance Company and contemporary dance-theatre company, Freefall Performance Lab. Camilla qualified as a ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2005 and has taught ballet in dance schools in and around London. She has also taught dance at corporate events for Google and children’s charity, Their Future Today.
In 2007 Camilla graduated with a PGCE in English and Drama Teaching from Goldsmiths, University of London. Since then she has taught English, Dance and Performing Arts in secondary schools and post-16 colleges in inner London, and has directed and choreographed a number of school productions. She is currently working with Goldsmiths University and Etta Ermini Dance Theatre Company in developing inclusive dance projects for inner London schools.
Camilla started working with Beauville Arts in July 2006 and has collaborated in producing the following shows: Chicago, Oliver!, The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, Mamma Mia and the 10th Anniversary Show – and she hopes there will be many more to come!
